Having already come down this steep incline already today to get to POS we made our way back up/ it was steep but our bodies and legs must have gotten used to it because it didn’t seem as hard as it looked. We made our way through the rocky top to the summit knowing we had done 7 summits on little more than a cupa soup looking towards our 1st summit…we made our way back down to the tarn and followed the river back down. Got to the car hoping not to be clamped as we had now been gone over 11 hours so I quickly jumped in and made our getaway. We had done it. Time to head back to our tent and have a shower and chill before watching demolition man and sleep. WHAT A BIRTHDAY!!!Scotty 2 Hotty19/06/2018

Up Pavey Arc by Jacks Rake then over the Pikes and down Wainwrights sneaky path at Martgate Moor. Clearly not very often used. Dipped feet into Mickleden Beck again, got blister under left foot, been wearing thick socks for padding but too hot for feet. Another glorious day.Mark T28/05/2016
