Parked at NT ODG. Nuttal walk 5.3. Esk Pike, Bowfell and Crinkle Crags from Cockley Beck Bridge. First ascent of Esk Pike from the upper Duddon Valley for me and the desolate but romantic head of Eskdale - splendid scenery. The route visited many not previously climbed Birketts and Synges. 20 summits topped during the day, order of ascent: Painet Knott, Throstlehow Crag, Scar Lathing, High Gait Crags, Yeatyrigg Crags, Pike de Bield, Esk Pike, Bowfell North Top, Bowfell, Shelter Crags N Top, Shelter Crags, Gunson Knott, 4th Crinkle, 3rd Crinkle, Crinkle Crags, Crinkle Crags South Top, Great Knott, Cold Pike Far West Top, Cold Pike West Top, Cold Pike. 23km with 1400m of ascent, taking 8h 40m.silverwolf_alan20/09/2022
