From Ard Crags as part of The Newlands Watershed walk (in reverse). Weather was very hot, I brought extra water but had to start rationing after Knott Rigg. Stopped for lunch near half between the summit and pass but noticed a tick on my backpack and another on the ground next to me... so finished lunch on the go. Onto Robinson.NorthernWayfarer08/07/2018

From leaving work and school on Friday we set off straight away to the lakes to set up camp at Thirlspot underneath Helvelyn. tent took 10 mins to set up so headed back into Ambleside for a chippy tea at Wallnuts. storm headed in but was nice and dry in the tent. on Saturday morning the storm had passed and was looking amazing. we set off to Newlands pass to Moss force waterfall. Absolutely stunning! from There we headed straight up. steep at fist but flattened out to an unexciting summit with great views and weather.Scotty 2 Hotty12/05/2018
