Catseye Cam and Birkhouse Moor from Glenridding. Very cold and windyWinter Round15/12/2023
With Izzy and Margo. From Helvellyn. Swirral Edge hadn't seen the sun all day so there were icy patches but nothing too bad at all. We were soon on the grassy col and approching this perfect pyramid. Izzy's 25th Wainwright. 90 minutes later we were in the Travellers Rest toasting our success and later had tea at the Eagle & Child in Staveley on the way home (recommended).James McKnight25/11/2023

Stayed in Toddhills Travelodge, Saturday night, met Alex McBride in Glenridding on Sunday 26th. We headed up to Birkhouse Moor first, past Red Tarn and on to Catstye Cam. They up via Swirral Edge to Helvellyn, had lunch in the X wind shelter, then over Lower Man, Whiteside Bank and up onto Raise. From Raise we descend NW, checking out the ski tow then rejoining the path at the old mine workings. Alex continue on for Sheffield Pike, while I dropped down to the hostel and back to Glenridding. 06:35hrs all in, Helvellyn had intermittent clouds, but good views in between the clouds and on the other smaller hills. Helvellyn is my 6th and final Furth Munro (in England).chillyman826/03/2023
