Final set of hills around Deepdale to complete the Wainwrights with Mark W who finished his second round and Mr Murphy. Set of from Bridgend eastwards to Deepdale Hall andt ascend the bracken covered slopes up to Arnison Crag retracing our steps to go on to Birks, St Sunday Crag, Cofa Pike, Fairfield, Hart Crag and finally number 214 Hartsop above How before descending back to the car. Quite frankly horrible on top! Last 400m to summit was almost blizzard like. Other than that great day - crisp and clear but very snowy on the tops. Ice axe came in handy at a few hairy moments.
