7th time around the fabulous Fairfield Horseshoe, on a glorious sunny clear, calm autumn day, with low mist in the valleys to start. A beautiful day to be on the Lakeland Fells, with L. Overnight frost on the grass but warm in the sun then inevitably chilly in a breeze on top. Saw a lonesome foxhoud trotting along the tops looking for its pack -peering into the corries, but ignoring us people. We heard a hunting horn in the far distance.Chris Pearson12/10/2023
