Via regular footpath from Haweswater and Kidsty Howes. With Dad. Descent by the same. Did attempt a suggested route from a guide book to access the ridge to Lower Raise but it was a nuts, dangerous ascent and we abandoned and slid down on our bottoms. So the footpath is best.M0YDH08/10/2023

Ramps Gill Round clockwise from St Peter's Church with Jim, Jus & Cat, on a day where the forecast heavy rain thankfully never materialised. We'd only met one person across all the previous seven summits; oddly, three other groups converged on this summit at the same time as us, making it a strangely crowded place in all the surrounding emptiness. One of the better summits on the round; good views from here.wheresthepath28/09/2019

heading from High raise we made our way to Kidsy Pike. I had a little trip but luckily I had ankle supporting boots on hahaha love the summit with sheer drops on one side down to the valley. took some great pictures here before making our long descent to the car. we stop 3 quarters of the way down to use the jetboil for the 3rd time and had pot noodles and just looked at the awesomeness of Haweswater, reflecting on the most perfect of days. from the pot noodle stop headed steeply down following the lake shore back to the car. near the end taking pictures of a bright green sand lizard soaking up the rays on a rock. we set off home very happy about the day stopping off briefly at the best service station ever in southbound teebay before getting home and enjoying some cold beer and wine in the back garden in the sun and having a long long lie in on the sunday before getting Myla back and watching a family film, naked and afraid and chilling. what a weekend.Scotty 2 Hotty21/04/2018

Parked up at Mardale Head and set off up Gatescarth Pass. Bit cloudy and gloomy at the start heading up; lot more cloud on the summit of Harter Fell, and a breezed blowing as well. Carried along to Mardale Ill Bell, then stopped for a break on High Street. Cloud had cleared by this point, and it had turned into lovely sunny day; was grateful for the breeze blowing along the tops! Short sandwich and tea break then continued onwards onto The Knott before taking a detour onto High Raise before coming back and heading east to the summit of Kidsty Pike before taking a stroll down to Haweswater and back to car park. Nice day out and got some nice photos as well.GaryG16/05/2014

The Knott 11:11, Rampsgill Head 11:36, High raise 12:00, Kidsty Pike 12:13, Followed Roman Road - just looks like normal fell path. Followed wall up into mist. High Street 12:54. Beacon 14 feet tall, still no view in mist 1;31. Came down out of mist and saw my final destination - Windermere. Frostwick amd Ill Bell look like classic little mountains.
