Staying at the OMC Cottage, I did Stob a' Choire Odhair (945m) & Stob Ghabhar (1090m) today with Dave Morgan. Two munros bringing my total to 198 out of 282 now.

We started in darkness, around 07:45, when the car dashboard said it was -9C. We walked out in darkness with headtorches on, arriving back at the car for 17:50, a really big day.

The inversion was awesome | chillyman8 | 02/12/2023 |
Fine day out, some sun. Warm | Capt Malbec | 18/06/2023 |
A long 25 mile walk based around the two munros Stob a' Choire Odhair and Stob Ghabhar. I detoured to Beinn Toaig going up, visited Aonach Eagach on route and then had a walk around Sron nan Giubhas, Stob Ghabhar North Top, Aonach Mor, Creag a' Bhealaich, Sron a' Ghearrain and Stob a' Bhruaich Leith and then detoured to visit Meall an Araich on the way down, walking out via Clashgour Farm and down the valley. Every summit had completely different views and was worth visiting in it's own right, a very enjoyable day on the mountains. Notes: Climbed up more steeply from Beinn Toaig. Great views from the summit. /D | meltdiceburg | 17/06/2023 |
Very hot & sunny day, not a cloud in the sky. From car park at Victoria Bridge. Ascent along track via Forest Lodge and Clashgour Hut, then up path alongside Allt Toaig and Allt Caolain Duibh. After summit headed west to Bealach and descent by Coire Toaig. | Robertgee | 15/06/2023 |

d 8am, car park at NN270418 after overnight drive (arr Tyndrum 6am). Overcast but cloudbase off the tops and a bit of brightness here and there, mild and very pleasant on this excellent viewpoint. R ankle strapped and using walking poles. Down to drive to Ft Wm and kill time till can get in 'Taigh Beag' converted garage on edge of Caol housing estate (!), very pleasant overnight but still tired next day and didn't do a high hill as planned - Sgine car park full, hot day, just kept driving. | NorfolkPT21 | 01/08/2021 |

Walked from Victoria Bridge up Stob a'Choire Odhair on a dry but grey day. Quite warm and windless. Ideal walking weather. Followed that up with an ascent of Stob Ghabhar and then back down via the waterfall. The route up Stob Ghabhar from Coirean Lochain side seemed too steep, loose and crumbling for a safe descent. | honey badger | 17/09/2017 |

From Victoria Bridge via Clashgour Hut. A circuit of Stob a'Choire Odhair, Aonach Eagach, Stob Ghabhar, Sron nan Giubhas, Sron a'Ghearrain and Stob a'Bruaich Leith. With friend. From Glencoe Ski Centre. Walked along the old road to near Lochan Mhic Pheadair Ruaidh. Ascended up the hillside and up NE ridge of Beinn Toaig, and hence to the summit of Stob a' Choire Odhair. Very misty so the compass was used – snowing. We had chosen this route in preference to a more direct ascent of Stob a' Choire Odhair as this would be rather difficult in the conditions, being very steep with cliffs. We returned more or less the same way, but went more to the north of Beinn Toaig due to taking a NE bearing from the summit. Encountered snow slopes requiring axe to be out. | pwbellarby | 14/04/1996 |
