A pleasant surprise that we could a) see it from Red Screes through the cloud and rain which by this time had set in and b) it wasn't too far and it was down. Nearly hail at top but clearing and some blue sky by time we got back to Kirkstone Inn. And a bonus haircut for Al in Sweeney Bobs in Ambleside.AlanDStewart18/03/2017
