First proper walk in a couple of months after an injury...originally planned to do the horseshoe walk from Hartsop, after taking 1 1/2 hours just to struggle up this one I came to the conclusion that a bit more recovery time might be wise first though!the_adam19/04/2017

This was unplanned on our way from Beda fell to Catherdral Cave but whilst it looking at us and the weather was so perfect we couldnt resist. turned off kirkstone pass towards Hartsopp and parked at the foot of the mountain. followed the obious path up the ridge of the mountain. very steep even used the fence to pull me up in some places. Absolutely loved this mountain. stunning views of Ullswater and all the eastern fells which where still covered in snow. perfect pyramid shape. Found a sheep skull on top. Chilled at the top it was up there for me as one of my favourites to date having made it up in under an hour. had a pint in Kirkstone pass inn afterwards had Kirkstone gold before driving back and going out to watch Haye vs Bellew round Chorley.Scotty 2 Hotty04/03/2017
