Last day at Shap and rain forecast for p.m. Dropped and picked up at Swindale Head and followed W's route up the Nab and Howes but returned by the same route as wanted to fit in the Birkett Brown Howe via the corpse road as had to omit it on the Naddle horseshoe walk through exhaustion. Made it 30 mins. before rain started. | BURGESS | 16/08/2017 |
W Jenx and Bryher from limited parking at Truss Gap. Along lane to Swindale Head then fine old track up past Hobgumble Gill and steep up onto Nabs Moor.
