From/back to Kirkby Stephen Station with Friends of Settle & Carlisle Guided Walk. Weather very good with extensive views, underfoot similarly good, soft in places. Lives up to its billing as a destination worthy of making an effort for.JOHNS06/05/2023

A day dodging the extreme heat. A 5.45 startup Nine Standards Rigg in the morning then a drive round to do Binks fell in the early evening. Both very straightforward though a final section of heath on Binks Fell with no path. Summit posts now have a pair of wellies on their tops!dickscroop19/07/2022
Kirkby Stephen, over Birketts and Nateby Common, down over other Birketts.Flatfield16/07/2022

With Christine, Eric, Geoff and Steve. The full day's walk was 17.6km with 700m of ascent, taking us 5h 30m.silverwolf_alan12/05/2022

From Kirby Stephen on a beautiful June day: Nine Standards Rigg, White Mossy Hill and Nateby Common. With Hiking Manchester group.Lazylizzie20/06/2021
Parked on the B6270 south of Tailbridge Hill. Nice steady walk direct to the summit then minor path across the moor to the main path up to Nine Standards Rigg. Next came a cross-country there-and-back trek across the, thankfully bone-dry, heather and hags to Brownber Head, before finishing atop the featureless White Mossy Hill.summitter19/06/2021
Up from Kirkby Stephen, lost path a few times coming down. Good views to the north and southNCurtis17/04/2021
After Nateby Common on my first fell run. Followed a track through the grass to pick up the the RoW shown on the map, then followed this up.Wheelsy12/04/2021

Up from the layby at the county boundaryEggletina05/07/2020
From the lay-by on B6270 at County boundary. Followed ROW to Rollinson Gill crossing. From the dual finger post ( NW / SW ), followed a well-worn path not on OS map towards observation pillar. A bit boggy over Rollinson Haggs. Returned via Nuttalls' recommended route via the disused quarry, but this is even boggier over Rollinson Haggs.Peter_W_Mitchell 24/06/2020

Beautiful day. Again spent nearly 3hrs up there awaiting D of E groups. Walked up from Mould Gill on the B6270 in Birkdale GR828030. Good track not marked on OS maps (at least not the older versions) goes up LHS of the Gill to meet the main C2C path. Some boggy bits to summit but not bad relative to other paths on the fell.JulieB19/09/2019
