Parked at Balquidder village hall for a circuit of 6 Simms. 3/6 | PGCE | 22/03/2024 |
From Meall an Lochain, descending S of the lochan to a huge boulder (2 goats and kid nearby), then steeply up on grass and blaeberry, and less steeply over to the summit. Descent back to the path S of the lochan, and back down Kirkton Glen. | LizH | 19/05/2023 |
SMMC meet at Crianlarich. Started from layby on A85, just west of Ledcharrie. Took track and path that goes to Kirkton Glen. Then from Rob Roy's Putting Stone, contoured hillside and gradually ascended to summit of Meall an t-Seallaidh.
Return via tops: Cam Chreag, Meall an Fhiodhain and M an F West top. | clashcityrocker | 12/12/2022 |
Parked at Ledcharrie and took the hydro track to its end. A waymarked path continues up to the lochan and onwards to Balquidder. I left the path at an old fenceline just before the lochan and followed the fence to the top. Then took a diagonal descent to the good track...cracking walk, stunning views. | hils | 03/06/2022 |
Up Kirkton Glen from Balquhidder to the lochan, then round the ridge to Meall an Fhiodhain (W and main), Cam Chreag, Meall an t-Seallaidh, 789m Top, SW through gap in trees to forest track, straight on at bend to Creag an Tuirc and back to car down MTB track. Would have been a grand day out but for the wind and low cloud. | TRG318 | 23/03/2021 |

2 of 4 on ACW circuit | Tony S | 26/08/2020 |
Started from the pull=in at the beginning of the forestry road a mile west of Balquhidder to keep a safe distance from others during the epidemic. CW round of Meall an Fhiodhain west top, MaF, Cam Chreag and Meall an t-Seallaidh, cutting down by a stream through the forest (a scratchy experience due to close planting and piles of brash) to rejoin the tracks. Outstanding views: all in all, a really good walk. | Nick Down1 | 10/05/2020 |

Meall Reamhar, Meall an Lochain, Meall an Fhiodhain W top, Meall an Fhiodhain,Cam Creag and Meall ant-Seallaidh. Descent line further north of west might have been better | dickscroop | 07/11/2016 |
