Brilliant but tough day out with Brian Smith, weather great but hard under foot with boulders. Grey Corries routeKevthecat27/05/2021
Solo clockwise route covering the three Grey Corries - mix of clag and blue skies during the day, and a recent layer of wet/unstable snow on the ridge - not enough to make B3s and crampons worthwhile but careful footing in places made for a slow pace above 800m. 8h 30m from car back to car.mproudfoot28/11/2020
Solo. Poor visibility, raining. Stob Ban & Grey Corries (Stob Choire Claurigh, Stob Coire an Laoigh, Sgurr Choinnich Mor)Huwel21/10/2020
I had a very long but great day on the Grey Corries circuit, parking at the end of the private track south of Coire Choille Farm at 9am, then following the walkhighlands route up the horibly boggy slope to the 1st Munro Top of Stob Coire na Gaibhre (958m). I detoured off the route (spending an hour) to bag the 2nd Munro Top of Stob Coire na Ceannain (1123m). Then back to the main ridge and up the 1st Munro of Stob Choire Claurigh (1177m). Further along i crossed over the 3rd, 4th & 5th Munro Tops of Stob a' Choire Leith (1105m), Stob Coire Cath na Sine (1079m) & Caisteal (1106m). The ridge then leading to the 2nd Munro of Stob Coire an Laoigh (1117m), followed by the 6th Munro Top of Stob Coire Easain (1080m). From here madness took over and i continued over to the oulying 3rd Munro of Sgurr Choinnich Mor (1094m). From where I had to reascend the 6th Munro Top (reaching the summit again at 18:00), to reach the 7th Munro Top of Beinn na Socaich (1005m). From here ive never descendechillyman823/09/2020

From Steall Falls CP to WSW - get there early for a parking space. I arrived 7.15-ish to find few spaces left. Cannot see why so popular as the walk along the Water of Nevis is rough and once past the meadow area, becomes much rougher, boggy and horribly stony. Difficult to follow in places due to lush grass. A vague path heads off up Allt Coire a'Bhuic (approx. NN 209 691) - don't beat yourself up if you loose it. Grass and tussocks ease with heightcarole engel01/08/2020

Cheeky marathon from Glen Nevis to Spean Bridge via the Aonachs and Grey Corries.quadbarrel30/11/2019
Parked at Corriechoille, followed the track to the bothy, then Stob Ban, Stob Choire Claurigh, Stob a Choire Leith, Stob Coire Cath na Sine, Caisteal, Stob Coire an Laoigh, Stob Coire Easain, Sgurr Choinnich Mor, Beinn na Socaich. From there down a slippery, grassy slope and back to car. About 18 miles and 11 hours walking. Weather patchy at first with some rain, but improved once on the Grey Corries ridge into lovely walking conditions with excellent views.Fell_wanderer15/09/2019
With Rob Henderson. Walked from road to end of Glen Nevis up through gorge into Glen Nevis with the waterfalls and towering surrounding summits. After crossing the river at the Steall ruin. We started the ascent of grassy slopes to summit bypassing Stob Chonnich Beag. The mist was down from the col. we descended over Stob Choire Beagdavid.walker4023/05/2019

With Brian R. in full winter conditions from Glen Nevis. Was supposed to be clear and calm, but ended up being awful on the ridge.Play2End31/03/2016
Last summit on a traverse of the Grey Corries ridge and Stob Ban. Cloud was just catching the top by the time we reached this one. Descended west to the col and then back to the tent at 235693. Walked out the next day. The camp site was midgey but the dark night sky and perfect silence (apart from the stags bellowing every now and again) made up for itmindlessflogger19/09/2015
