Great day out from the cable car and up onto Aonach mor. Great snow | emily | 14/03/2022 |
RHSoc Dinner Meet at Banavie. From Tom na Sroine. Then very steeply up to Aonach Mor, it seemed a good idea at the time. | Minto | 18/09/2021 |
From Aonach Mor, descending very steeply; keeping close to ridge seemed better, but there was less path than expected. HP is small rock outcrop. Good views, albeit in swirling cloud. Decided Tom na Sroine was a step too far to day. Continued to Aonach Beag and south along ridge to Steall Bridge carpark. | Denise | 16/09/2021 |
There and back from Aonach Mor. Thin path descends rock/grass rib from NN1942,7296. | RichardM | 16/09/2021 |
Short day - from Upper Gondolda station mopping-up Munro Tops. | benalder284 | 31/07/2021 |
Descended into Coire Choille-rais, adventurous and a good place to observe big snow patches high on Aonach Mor. Contoured back to chairlift and Sgurr Finniosgaig accompanied by a swarm of flies that befriended me in the swamp. | Wycombe Wanderer | 26/06/2021 |

A great walk, with superb views...except for the bit thrashing through the forestry and the bracken to get onto the hill. Walking down the world cup mountain bike track provided an interesting descent. | Gill | 05/09/2015 |

With a friend. We left one vehicle at the car park of the Aonach Mòr gondola system and drove to the top of Glen Nevis in another. We walked up Upper Glen Nevis and climbed steeply up to the summit of Sgùrr a' Bhuic. We continued to Stob Coire Bhealaich, Aonach Beag and Aonach Mòr. Here we separated, my friend descending northwards. I descended with a little difficulty down snow slopes to the east and to Stob an Cul-Choire, Stob Coire an Fhir Dhuibh and Tom na Sròine. I descended westwards and contoured round Aonach an Nid to the vicinity of the top station of the gondola system. I went up to the summit of Sgùrr Finniosgaig. I descended on the mountain bike trail and reached the car park about 21:00. | pwbellarby | 13/05/2006 |

Alone. After staying at Spean Bridge Hotel – Cairngorm Club Easter meet. From Creag Aoil, going along forest track (partly on line of former tramway), taking a branch of the track going S and then an old stalkers’ track. I ascended Tom na Sroine, Stob Coire an Fhir Dhuibh, and Stob an Cul Choire. Snow showers frequent. Large amount of avalanche debris. | pwbellarby | 20/04/1987 |
