From Glenachulish car park, had to divert up the East side of the burn due to a landslide. The last 100m of scree is tiresome. Visited the top, then on to the Far West Top and both Creag Ghorms. Quite a tiring day but immense views and sunshine from mid-morning.NormanW07/06/2023
From Lagnaha campsite direct ascent E to edge at about 700m then traverse along to SDho Far West, SDho West, Sgorr Dhonuill, Sgorr Dhearg, descent to col and down to South Ballachulish. With Clive to SDho, then solo. In cloud most of the day from 500m upwards.richard6915/09/2021

RHW's final Simm. Group of 16 in weather which could not have been better. Stunning views all around and selection of cake and whisky in great company. Summit has 2 possible high points ~70m apart and of very similar height by Abney-both ways. We opt for the western high point for the celebrations.RichardM28/06/2021

4 of 5: From Sgorr Dhonuill.ChrisR26/05/1991
see Sgorr Dhonuill for confusing route description. I have this summit in my own book but with 2670 ft as the altitude. I'd have been over the highest ground to record a summit so it must be this one. Beinn a'Bheithir is a splendid mountain but this is very much away from its attractions and thoughts were turning to how bad the route through the forestry would be. From the col just N of this top- not so bad. With Pete.pwheeler02/06/1990
