From Glen Coe, standard route to reach ridge of Buachaille Etive Beag, on to Stob Dubh N Top (also visiting nearby knoll to be sure) and camping nearby. Descent back to glen and crossed to climb the end of the Beinn Fhada ridge (following a slight shelf under the crags before climbing up to the ridge). On to Beinn Fhada far E top, NE top and Beinn Fhada itself. Return by same route. Some steep terrain, excellent views all round. | RobertP | 16/10/2023 |
Parked at lay-by NN187562. Followed track, crossed burn and headed up NN181556 skirting lower outcrops to get to the start of the gully / ramp at NN17795571. Progressed under cliff to NN17605544. Cut up to ridge via NN17525554, and on to summit - my last Simm! | BaggerGutt | 24/07/2023 |
An enjoyable way off Bidean. We then wandered over to the right (SE) edge to look for a grassy ramp lower down, heading right to left (NNE). It wasn't hard to see it, but getting down to it was a bit awkward. Not really a scramble as we avoided the crags. Probably easier in reverse because you can see what's ahead of you, almost from the car park. | Pete R | 28/05/2023 |

Ascent simpler than expected from Lairig Eilde path. Straight up 5 mins after path crosses burn. At ramp below crags up and left following the ramp until the crags can be skirted around to the left. Then straight up, short gully onto last screeish slope below ridge. Steepish grass, not much scrambling. | steveroberts | 17/07/2022 |

Spent the weekend at the Ochils Mountaineering Club cottage in Crianlarich. Sunday 29/08/21, I met up with Alex McBride and we headed up Bidean nan Bain. Starting up the steep east slope of Beinn Fhada, to bag its two Munro Tops. Followed by the appropriately named 'bad step', which was a bit airy for comfort, on the ascent to the 1st Munro of Stob Coire Sgreamhach (1072m). Then Bidean nan Bain (1150m, 2nd Munro), from where I ventured west for the Munro Top of Stob Coire nam Beith (1107m) and then back up to Bidean.
The return to the car meant we had to ascent the fourth and final Munro Top of the day Stob Coire nan Lochan (1115m), then around the west side of Coire nan Lochan and back to the Three Sisters car park 10:50hrs after leaving the Beehive Cairn car park, both of us suitably knackered. | chillyman8 | 29/08/2021 |

Approached from Beinn Fhada NE Top from which this summit is not visible hidden some way beyond 910m contour ring. Reached 8th and final peak of the day at 19:15
No feature according to hill-bagging.
For me it is a toss up between small cairn and rib of rock.
Extremely difficult descent from here down to the Lost Valley reached path just as it turned dark at about 21:00. But even that was not straight forward by head torch crossing Allt Coire Gabhail, picking up path on other side and navigating round boulders the size of a house. Very pleased to cross the River Coe and steps up to path back to car park reaching van tired and battered at 22:20. | mntainman | 26/08/2020 |

From NE top. Descent to east trickier than suggested by OS 1:50000. Glad to make it to path in light and ran back to road just before dark. Ran back to start and got there at 17:30, exactly the same time as the others. | Wycombe Wanderer | 01/01/2017 |

Climbed with Rach as part of a Bidean Nam Bian walk. Absolutely glorious weather - perfect cloud free summits. Added a few additional tops to e walk along the ridge from Stob Coire Sgreamhach, the scrambling on this ridge was pretty easy. The hidden valley (on ascent) was stunning with lots of Deers. Descended over Nam Lochan and down its Left flank. All in all a good days walk. | scholesy | 11/10/2013 |
