Parked in the large layby on A82 to the NW. Followed the River Falloch track. Crossed river and rising traverse onto the Grey Height ridge to Meall Dhamh. As the path began to steeply zig zag up the W side of Cruach Ardrain, contoured around about 880m contour above the crags and steep gullies to the S ridge to bag Beinn Tulaichean, returning for Cruach Ardrain's SW and main tops. The plan was to go onto Stob Garbh but the initial descent off CA looked too challenging for us so we backtracked to Meall Dhamh followed the good path to the wood edge and down to the footbridge Enjoyable hot day with good views all round. From the Inverlochlairg walkers' car park (NN 4458 1845). Beinn Tulichean first then across to here. On to Stob Garve and the intermediate deleted Munro Top. | jonglew | 23/02/2023 |
Crianlarich- Grey Height -Meall Dham- Cruach Ardrain- Stob Garbh -Stob Coire Bhuidhe. Stunning walk. Oh my god the descent to the col before Stob Garbh! | benarbia_8 | 29/09/2022 |
Round of Beinn Chabhair, Beinn a’Chroin, Cruach Ardrain and Beinn Tuileachan from Inverlochlarig. Wispy cloud for first few hours, lifted eventually and brightened. One or two moments of sunshine. One heavy shower 10 mins from car park. Busy on Munro routes, quiet between. Quite a good path from Chabhair to a’Chroin bealach. | Rounsfell | 29/08/2022 |

After Tulaichen in the clag, rain and wind. Made for a quick ascent. On descent to Stob Garbh, drifted far too E in poor vis down below the cloud again and somehow didn't encounter any bottomless drops. Soaked through - apparently my 500th hill. | iangpark | 13/07/2022 |

Fantastic sunny snowy views but a hard ascent in strong winds and blizzard. Without crampons, struggled to find a route down the steep icy terrain- went south east and then reascended to col to continue to Stob Garbh. | Denise | 18/03/2020 |

Reached from the lay by on the A82 outside Crianlarich, followed track under railway line then cut up to Grey Height over Meall Dhamh and then onto Cruach Ardrain before heading to Beinn Tulaichean. A seven mile walk taking around seven and a half hours. | WAYNE ROWLETT | 28/04/2019 |

Started the walk from the car park at Inverlochlarig at the end of Loch Voil. The going is very steep up grassy slopes and no distinct paths to follow until you get closer to the summit. Once at the summit of Beinn Tulaichean I carried on down to the bealach and then up to Cruach Ardrain. The return journey took me back to the bealach between the two mountains and then headed in an Easterly direction down the hill to the farm track in Inverlochlarig Glen. Followed this track back to the starting point. Walk took just over the 5 hours. | Anglostark | 25/03/2019 |
stopped with Tony W on way up to Corran. walked from Ochil hut. misty. no snow | HardenC | 01/03/2019 |
Beinn Tulaichean (946m) and Cruach Ardrain (1046m) accessed from Iverlochlarig, west of Balquhidder. It was a killer ascending up Beinn Tulaichean, through the mist, I had to convince myself to carry on, but the views from the top were incredible. I got my first ever inversion, with all the mountains poking out the mist like islands in the sea. 7:10 hours all in. | chillyman8 | 24/02/2019 |
From Inverlochlarig (NN 44575 18461) - Beinn Tulaichean - Cruach Ardrain SW Top - Cruach Ardrain. Intermittent path on the initial ascent of Beinn Tulaichean but becomes more distinct nearer the summit. Ground very wet and slippery on the descent from the bealach between Beinn Tulaichean & Cruach Ardrain SW Top to Inverlochlarig Glen. Good track along the glen back to the car park. | david230201 | 24/02/2019 |
Crianlarich - Stob Garbh - Cruach Ardrain - Beinn Tulaichean - Beinn a' Chroin - An Caisteal - Crianlairich (via West Highland Way). Frozen ground and some snow, patches of blue sky in amongst the clouds. | twg27 | 04/12/2018 |
