First of a 3 munro day from Kinlochleven, less strenuous than feared and good path most of the way. parked at Grey Mare's Tail carpark by church. Followed mapped maze of paths, sometimes signed Loch Eilde to Loch track, which I crossed to follow obvious path to Coire an Lochan and up the SE ridge of Sgurr Eilde Mor. Descended west on obvious path, steep and loose at top, along north side of Coire an Lochain and followed path north to Binnein Beag.Denise 30/05/2023

1st of 4, Jim and I on a roasting day, again! :) Off from Mamore Lodge along a kleg infested path :/ Just under 3hrs to summit, badly eroded up NW approach!bowzi30/07/2011
Approached from Kinlochleven on a good day - plenty of sun but not too hot and good breeze on the top. Used network of excellent stalkers paths. Only saw 4 folk the whole day which was surprising - a bloke thought that was because everyone was at T in the park. First time I've had decent views (grey corries, the annochs and Ben Alder) in 4 visits to the Mammores. Decided against the direct route up Binnein Mor as was getting a tad tired and instead went onto the West ridge which was much more straightforward. 2.30 hours to the top of Sgurr Elde and about 6 hrs to the top of the last one Na Grugaichen. Seemed to take for ages to get back to the car and pretty puggled when I got back to the car. In retrospect parking at Mammore Lodge would have shaved about an hour off the round.slynch09/07/2011

Solo. From Mamore Lodge. Walked along the track to Loch Eilde Mór and up the footpath towards Coire an Lochain. Where the path reaches the outfall from the loch I crossed the burn and made a rising traverse and then straight up to the summit of Sgurr Eilde Mòr. I descended slightly northwards and then descended, meeting something of a path. I cut across to join the path leading to the col between Binnein Beag and Binnein Mòr. Followed the path to the col and ascended fast up a well trodden route to the summit of Binnein Beag. Lunch. Continued to Binnein Mòr and Na Gruagaichean.pwbellarby04/08/2003

something like a 2.30am start on SW side of Sgurr Eilde Mor with Andy Elphinstone as part of a support group for John Fleetwood's attempt at a 24 hour Ramsays round. was so relatively slow that I was left behind very quickly. It was still going to be a big Munro day for me. SEM was second time after going up it on first week on honeymoon with Bridget. On to valley and round to Binnein Beag, up north ridge to Binnein Mor, Na Gruagaichean, NW top, Sob Coire a'Chairn, out and back to An Gearanach, Am Bodach and back SE to Kinlochleven.
