From the end of the public road near Melgarve bothy- along the track past the bothy, then a NW line up the hillside to gain the more distinct ridge to the summit. On to Geal Charn in quiet trying snow conditions underfoot, although the wind was light and the views fantastic. Underfoot conditions meant that time was short and so dropped back down to the track and back to Melgarve. 11.3km, 4h 15Rockdoctor29/12/2023

Fifth day of a trip to NW Highlands - climbed on return due to poor weather. From Melgarve. This point between the Corbett and the former Corbett (Corriyairack Hill). An unremarkable hill. We did not have a view from the summit, but did for most of the ascent. With DW & SL.AGWilliamson23/09/2014
