With Arthur and Gill in rain. Parked in gateway. Excellent track through plantation, then straight up the hillside easily. Vague ATV track part way. Small cairn on rocky rib. Returned same way in dry weather.Denise 07/10/2023
Parked opposite cream house in Inverlair, along forest track to Allt Boidheach (thanks hils for the tip!),up ATV track to col and on to summit. Nil views. Across to Ben Chlianaig. Return back to ATV and forest tracks as per way in. Pleasant stroll for a Sunday.MichaelF21/05/2023

Layby parking NN 3026 8092. FB over gorge at NN 2997 8104 currently closed - unsafe. Easy to climb over barriers (bridge did not collapse). No evidence of atv described below.carole engel03/07/2022
Cycled in from Inverlair on good track. Dont take straight to the hill up horrid steep rough ground, instead, go on to the Allt Boidheach where an ATV track goes up the north side of the burn, almost to the top, wonderful views in all directions.hils25/06/2022

Beinn na Cloiche, Creag Guanach to Cnapp Cruinn from Corrour through to Roybridge where I was staying. Misty to start clearing to nice run towards Staoineag in the sun and misting up later. Bridge at Monessie closed due to risk, but passable fortunately. Solo.davechaffey15/09/2021

Via Monessie. With Bolton & CJM. Visited Beinn Chlianaig, Beinn Chlianaig E top & Cnap Cruinn. Gorge very impressive. A bit of a slog up grassy slopes. Tops fine & views good - Sgurr Innse looks superb.ger08/11/2019
Easy parking on the old road close to the bend at 301809. Crossed the Monessie Gorge and then from the farm headed directly to the SIM of Beinn Chlianaig. With CM and Ger.bolton08/11/2019
From Monessie Gorge, which is the best part of the walk. Good parking on a loop of old road just next to the entrance to the track leading down to the gorge. Fine views from the wobbly bridge. Up to Monessie farm, then followed a stream up the hill, nice at first, but soon becomes tedious and somewhat repetitive. Along the boggy shelf running parallel with the ridge, then up to the nice summit on short heather. Good views.Gill03/11/2019
From Sgurr Innse. Considering the heavy rain over many days, what looked on paper to be a possible quagmire wasn't as bad as expected. Certainly very wet but no real difficulties. Got slightly off track in mist on the ascent veering too far north towards point 718 but easily corrected. Then west across easy but very wet long grass across the north shoulder of Cruach Innse back to the track towards Coire Choille.Owen B12/10/2019
From Corriechoille took coll to north of Cruach Innse, with Ellie dog.BLACKHILL12/06/2019

A round of five tops from the small but cosy Lairig Leacach bothy with good company and a warm fire on the second night. North along valley until opposite an easier line up Cruach Innse dropped down east without problem to take in Beinn Clunaig and Cnap Cruinn before heading back towards Sgurr Innse. Had walked almost right round this by now without seeing an easy line so just tackled the SE side by what looked like the easiest line which worked out OK. Then easily up Stob Coire Easain West top and back to the bothy. A very good day.dickscroop22/10/2016

From Monessie via gorge walk with Jenx. Thereafter straightforward past farm and straight up hill. Visited the three other Tops in a loop. Fine day of bright sunshine.nordicstar17/03/2016
Turned out to be a much better hill than expected. Inversion/ bright sunshine made for great views, especially from the top looking south to the Corries, Inses etc all still snow covered. Monessie gorge also very pretty.jenx17/03/2016

Cnap Cruinn (NN303775) S/F NN 252806 Another perfect day! Sunshine with no cloud at all but extremely cold wind. First time I've climbed in both jumber and coat since I can't remember. Snow from 400m in broken drifts. Some soft but others hard and glassy and impossible to pass without crampons. Had to change direction on route of ascent to avoid one such drift. Long walk across summit ridge which would be tricky in fog.John Young01/04/2013
