Then took a steep quarry incline up to a level area, picking my way south through the dwarf gorse to the fine summit of Moel Faban. Then continued NE down into the deep cleft at the bwlch, up over Llefn and on to the summit of Gyrn. Then north for the pull up onto Moel Wnion. Returned to Rachub SW along the north flank of the ridge. Solo.Man of Kernow127/03/2021

From Bont Newydd near Abergwyngregyn (SH 66485 71904) - Moel Wnion - Gyrn - Moel Faban - Gyrn Wigau. From start back towards Abergwyngregyn then took public footpath at SH 65770 72460. Direct ascent of Moel Wnion via Ffridd Ddu. Boggy in parts between Moel Faban and sheepfold at SH 64391 67104. Return to start via flank of Moel Wnion then North Wales Path to Aber Falls.david23020118/09/2016
Started with a walk by the Aber Falls on N Wales path. There is no direct way via Afon Garn to the col SE of this hill so we made our way to the access point at 657709- our short cut from the N Wales path seemed ill-advised, we'd go to the ROW another time. From here, over the col by Cras, there were sketchy paths here and there, the top 200 ft in cloud but easy enough with compass. Returned on path over Cras to access point at 653719 and fp to between Aber village and our start at Bont Newydd.pwheeler15/09/2016
