Parked in Brown Avenue Kinlochleven where a footpath goes down to RIVER LEVEN trail/Ciaran path to Blackwater dam. 5hours45 to summit. On way stream/waterfall Allt Coire na Duibhe was in SPATE :- impassable. Had to climb through steep bracken at times to old concrete pipeway followed this to large cairn where a zigzag path descends to the German camp (old pipeway was made by WW1 POWs) & Ciaran path. This was the other side of unbridged streams & on Ciaran path. Finished well after dark. Another option might be to see if possible to cross the dam & down what looks on map to be a good track.rogreeves24/09/2023
From Kinlochleven on a glorious day. Up the lovely River Leven path to Blackwater dam (best bit of the walk), then the MTB quagmire to the better path up Allt an Inbhir. You can't even see the hill until a fair way past the river crossing; it's so small. When I spotted the hill, I just set off up. It's fairly easy going, long grass but smooth ground. Superb views at the top. Back to the dam, off piste below the MTB quagmire is much easier. At the dam, I was looking forward to my last sandwich. If you find my lunch box up on the hill, it's yours. Back below the dam to join the vehicle track along the pipeline back to Kinlochleven, fine views all the way down.Gill10/09/2022
From Glas Bheinn. Descended initially NNE until the slope to the east was more manageable. Took a line just north of Lochan Tom Ailein, up to the ridge line, then an easy stroll to the attractive rocky summit with fantastic views, especially towards Buachaille Etive Mor. Descended west, over the north ridge of Glas Bheinn, slightly awkwardly down over alternating steep and less steep ground to the bridge at the east end of Loch Eilde Mor, then a plod back to Kinlochleven, with fine views down Loch Leven in the latter stages.Owen B21/08/2022
With:hb; From Loch Chiarain Bothy we ascended S ridge of Beinn na Cloiche to summit. Excellent views towards Loch Trieg munros. Down to Lochan Tom Ailein and up Glas Bheinn. Descended NE ridge to Carn Dearg & down to Luibeilt. Wildcamped by Abhainn Rath.Ian Baines18/05/2022
Beinn na Cloiche, Creag Guanach to Cnapp Cruinn from Corrour through to Roybridge where I was staying. Misty to start clearing to nice run towards Staoineag in the sun and misting up later. Bridge at Monessie closed due to risk, but passable fortunately. Solo.davechaffey15/09/2021

Day 3 of pre-CUHWC Corrour trip. Walked to Staoineag Bothy, left some gear there for overnight, then went out to Beinn na Cloiche and the nearby HuMP in pouring rain and driving winds. Could not cross the river to do Glas Bheinn. With Mark and Phil.AGWilliamson06/09/2011
Wet week in Corrour with Andrew and Phil from CUHWC. Too wild & wet to do Munros Tuesday so walked out to Staoineag bothy. Then tried to do Glas Bheinn but river uncrossable so went up Beinn na Chloiche & Meall a' Bhainne. Constant driving rain.Mark Jackson06/09/2011

Done from Loch Chiarain bothy walking in the previous day with Martin66 & Calum. Calum was using this as training for a planned 100 Munros in 100 days jaunt, although his feet seemed to have other ideas as he went through a whole packet of Compeed - my Compeed - on the walk in to the bothy. Left Kinlochleven & followed the path through the woods alongside the River Leven to the reservoir dam & continued over rougher ground to the bothy. A cold night not helped by Calum insisting we light the fire & burn all our fuel way too early. He then bailed out the following morning while Martin66 & I headed N up to Beinn na Cloiche. We then traversed W over very rough stuff to the N ridge of Glas Bheinn as occasional snow showers swept in. Descended SW to rejoin the outward path to Kinlochleven - and a hobbling Calum - for tea & cakes at the Ice Factor. Not sure if Calum ever managed 1 Munro in 100 days afterwards never mind 100.NotReallyABagger28/03/2010
Up from col with Meall a' Bhainne. Clegs out in force. A decent shower on the way towards Glas Bheinn cut their numbers down.campagvelocet13/07/2009
From Kinlochleven. Clear of trees on track around Loch Eilde Mor, over the shoulder of one hill and down and up to the shoulder of Glas Bheinn.Glimpses of Blackwater dam. Very wet, unmaintained, boggy paths, over a stream to get onto slopes of hill. Easy progress for almost two miles to top at 14.15. complete change of everything at car. 8 3/4 hrs.arranc07/07/2009
