11.4 mile circular from Aber Falls road. Along the good track to Llyn Anafon ascending Llwytmor on a mix of sheep paths and trails. From here we followed trails to Foel-Fras and Drum (both 2nd time bagged). Descending the good track north-west, then onto trail over Pen Bryn-Du, Yr Orsedd, Foel-Ganol and Foel Dduarth (21m prominence). Heading down and back to road. 1141m ascent. Great views in sunny/high cloud conditions. Only a few people about.DanTrig13/09/2023

From Aber via pen y cydgoed and foel dduarth. A steep pull up the latter from the ancient enclosure. F.D. is well worth the visit for the views it yields. Steepish pull up here from there but no difficulty. Heading to Foel Fras via this line of minor tops well worth doing. With dbstig_nest24/09/2022

From the free parking area to the west at the end of the lane at 67580 71601. Followed track first North then East curving around Yr Orsedd leaving this track when I had reached about 490 meters so a relative easy climb up to the summit, from there a path can be found over to Faol Ganol, returned to the car via the same track to the north. Two hours for the four and quarter miles.WAYNE ROWLETT08/05/2021

Parked in the top car park (free) and followed the path out from the end of the car park steeply uphill to it's join with the track. Followed the track to the junction where the Drum track goes off to the right. Followed this until it was possible to move over roughish ground to the bwlch between Pen Bryn-du and Yr Orsedd. Up to top of Yr Orsedd (steep at top)and then along ridge and bwlch to Foel-ganol. Dropped down to bwlch between Foel-ganol and Foel Dduarth. Took a path, probably the hill ponies created this, down to the enclosures close to the pylons and then back to the car park taking vague paths through gorse. Nice half day walk.MikeM06/12/2016

2nd summit of the day. ON a reccy from Llanfairfechan taking the Mill road, North wales path, track signposted To Drum branching off to bag Yr Orsedd and then down the ridge and up to this summit, following the ridge again with a steep descent to a track leading to the forest road and this i followed to explore ABer falls, down to Abergwyngregyn and then Aber road back to Llanfairfechan. Bagging these hills relieved the pressure on the following days walk.Dazingdale04/07/2014
