2.3 mile out-and-back from dead end road east of hill near turning area. From here there is a good ATV track taking you all the way to the summit on grassy terrain. 213m ascent. The view from the top is amazingly good for a small hill especially looking north-west. Overcast. Earlier that day we bagged Rhinog Fawr. Moel Oernant, Craiglaseithin & Moel Ddu - Arenig - from Bronaber. Parked at SH 72612 31882 on grass next to Llyn Gelli-gain track. Track to dam, then off -path to Moel Oernant (found some binoculars, random) then Craiglaseithin then Moel Ddu (hard to decide which is the summit) then picked up path towards Penystryd very faintly and along road back to car.
