Parked in Rhiwargor Falls car park. There is a path to the left of the falls. On reaching the top of the falls it is a 900m heather bash to the summit. | PeteF | 28/12/2023 |
Parked at Bwlch y Groes. Up fence to begin then trod and Heather to M Eunant. Cross country to fence near Carreg Clap. East to stream and Heather bash to Cefn Coch. More Heather and bilberry bashing to Foel TyF. Down fence to Carreg clap then found succession of thin trods to the summit of M y Cerrig. Down fence to the car. | Moorponder | 06/07/2023 |

Parked in the parking area at SH 935 238. Walked up by the fence and through the gate. Followed minor trods created by sheep but mostly by machinery. Very wet underfoot compensated by a lovely view from the summit, including a snow-capped Aran Fawddwy. A round trip of just 3km with 130mascent, taking me 1h 10m. | silveracorn_alan | 14/04/2023 |
as others using sheep paths | underhill | 04/08/2021 |
Parked by the side of the road at 93517 23803 and followed the fence up the hill, after crossing a gate I headed for the summit using sheep trods as best as I could just under Two and half mile in an Hour and Ten minutes. | WAYNE ROWLETT | 20/06/2021 |
Parked at SH 935238 and climbed up parallel to the left hand side of the fence to the gate in the cross fence. Then picked a way across to the summit using sheep trods and eventually an old quod bike track. This went very near the summit. Return much the same way but different sheep trods. Wet underfoot. | MikeM | 13/05/2021 |
Parked as others have described and followed the fence line and ridge track. | rhalstead | 24/04/2021 |
Good parking at 935238. Up the side of the fence to a gate and then headed on various tracks directly to the summit. Solo. 70 minute return. Great conditions! | bolton | 14/04/2021 |

From 935238 up path by fence to gate as gerrybowes but I did not then go up to the ridge and found paths of varying degrees of clearness most of the way skirting below the ridge towards the summit. I came down a more direct route with one or two predictable obstacles. | clivevilla | 06/09/2017 |

Parking area at 935238 (Space for 4-5 cars) - Bit of a path to left of fence up to farm gate at 936241 & then continued up to ridge - A bit of a slog ESE through heather to unmarked summit - From summit dropped down to road & then up road back to car. (S) | gerrybowes | 07/02/2017 |
Parked beyond the farm buildings as 3 guys were clipping the lambs. Climbed the usual way and being a sunny early afternoon just after lunch this felt pretty rotten. Theres something soul destroying about heather and moss. Arriving at the summit theres not even a glimpse of the lake. Will make some excuse if anyone ever asks me to do this again. | stig_nest | 24/05/2016 |
From layby above Y Gadfa up to 'ridge' then along to top. Back to fenced area, along top fence and down. Heather bashing all the way - not the greatest hill. | SS | 19/07/2015 |
From below Y Gadfa where access land meets road. Previous descriptions still accurate. | ijpowell | 14/07/2015 |
Parked as RHW. Would be ferns to contend with later in the year. Heather from about 450m to summit but generally it is not too bad as partly not dense and has been cleared in places. | destaylor | 16/05/2014 |
Start~ 939236 Climbed north up the fence line until the path petered out then swung east to the summit.Unmarked. With Wombourne and Ron. Temp -2 at road level. | steve hudson | 29/12/2008 |
Froom Moel y Cerrig Duon. Followed the fence line east to a boggy bwlch, then a pathless heather bash to the un-marked summit. To return, headed south-east to the road by a messy descent by two streams and bracken thrash. Then lane down to Pont Eunant and B4393 back to the car. Solo. | Man of Kernow1 | 01/07/2000 |
