1/4 - from the col in the road NE of summit - vague path through heather adjacent to woodland - weather fine but windy.....wychwood03/07/2023
No cairn, HP on heather/ moss/ grass dome c 20 m west of fence. Good views of Cadair. From Ceswyn along forest boundary, and continued N along same boundary with vague path back to tarmac track at N end of forest (parking possible), then path west to A487 at col with carpark.Denise 17/10/2022
From Ceiswyn following edge of forest. Summit levelish short heather/grass/moss on open hillside W of forest. High point un-marked.RichardM17/10/2022
Parked in the car park at Aberllfenni, and walked up forest roads with a short but awful ascent up a steep slope in newly planted area onto the ridge between Ceiswyn and Mynydd Fron-fraith - heather, bramble and rotting wood! Once on the ridge all pretty straightforward, first to Mynydd Fron-fraith, then back track to the high point of the day at Ceiswyn, then by ATV track and forest road to Mynydd Cwmeiddew, and further forest roads with a short bit through the forest into open country to Godre Fynydd. Finally, a descent down a delightful forest path NE brought me back onto the forest road above Aberllfenni, then with a big loop round back to the car. Good views of Cader. A round trip of 16km with 700m ascent, taking 5h 20m.silveracorn_alan09/08/2022
Parked at the mountain centre on the A487 grid ref 73887 09200 and used the footpath opposite to reach the forest roads to Godre Fynydd and Mynydd Cwmeiddew finishing on the open hillside for Ceiswyn and Mynydd Fron-fraith, returned by the same route. Eight and half mile in Five hours twenty (I did start off the wrong way down the forest road at the start probably lost forty minutes).WAYNE ROWLETT29/05/2021
Godre Fynydd, Mynydd Cwneiddew, Ceiswyn and Mynydd Fron Fraith. Parked in layby on A487, walked half a mile south down the road then east across a field to avoid the grumpy sign on the entrance to the forest track. Fence line from Ceiswyn.PGCE07/02/2021

Godre Fynydd, Mynydd Cwneiddew, Ceiswyn and Mynydd Fron Fraith. Parked in layby on A487, walked half a mile south down the road then east across a field to avoid the grumpy sign on the entrance to the forest track. At the top of the field I worked my way up tracks to near the first top and then made it up as I went along really.clivevilla20/09/2016
