Revisit, from NE, turns out there's a buried trig block up on main summit. Drove up from Abergynolwyn, parked at nature reserve although could have easily got to end of road. Good path, boggy in places, shortcut on way down was bad and boggy.RHW25/02/2023

A splendid tour of the four Deweys (and other peaks) attached to Tarrenhendre. Parked in the car park (£4) at Dolgoch falls. Visited Mynedd Tan-y-Coed, Tarrenhendre, Mynydd Rhyd-galed, Foel y Geif, Mynydd Rhydd-galed (East Top), Tarren Cwm-ffernol, and Pen Trum-gwr. Altogether a 23.5km hike with 1240m ascent taking 7h 30 min.silveracorn_alan05/08/2022

11.5 mile circular walk from Abergynolwyn, walked up lane to end then then track to forest and final pull onto Tarren Y Gesail, followed path down and gained ridge at Foel y Geifr, then carried on to Mynydd Rhyd-Galed East Top and Mynydd Rhyd-Galed, then onto Tarrenhendre. bit too warm for us all. From summit followed poles along path back into the forest where the trees have taken over the path, followed forest lanes back to Abergynolwyn, good walk. 12.5 mile circular walk from Abergynolwyn in perfect weather, walked up lane to forest, went out and back to Foel Pandy, continued following lane to end then final pull onto Tarren Y Gesail, followed path down and gained ridge at Foel y Geifr, then carried on to Mynydd Rhyd-Galed East Top and Mynydd Rhyd-Galed, then onto Tarrenhendre from summit followed poles along path back into the forest where the trees have taken over the path, followed forest lanes back to Abergynolwyn, very nice walk with views of Cadair Idris, Diffwys and even Plynlimon.DanTrig27/09/2015
