Climbed Beinn Eibhinn with Rob as a trip involving 3 peaks from Loch Osian Youth hostel admitted as seniors (>18y), Hostel Warden delightful. Power cut on arrival in dark from Corrour on last train the night before. We were bowled over by the beauty of the place and simplicity of the YHA. Leaving by bike at 9.15! We followed south side of Loch Ossian, a 4wd track with puddles, dampness in air, passing returning walkers damp from camping. Estate houses at end of Locjh led to massive lodge overlooking end of Loch and owned by Tetrapack heir. Crossing stream by bridge we started climbing across uneven territory which proved unsuitable for cycles. We set off up hill to Beinn Eibhinn summit a climb of some 600 metres or so. Fantastic views of remote snow covered hills. Aonach Beag was next on ridgedavid.walker4022/04/2012
