Hard going from Crug Gynon. Huge views.Campbell Singer21/10/2021
Parked at 769655 for a circuit of Bibyn Du and Crug Gynon. Mainly sheep paths and ATV tracks once off the main track. Visited all 3 highpoints.PGCE11/08/2021

unmarked moss and grass HP on ridge. Extensive wild views; pathless, tussocky terrain. Onto Llyn Gynon for over night backpack. From Disgwylfa.Denise 15/04/2021
From small car park at Tyncwm (SN769655) along RoW past Garreglwyd to watershed (SN792643). Then along good ATV tracks to Crug Gynon, retracing route to SN 792643, from where again decent ATV tracks take you around east side of the marshy area along a minor ridge then up to Dibyn Du. Return W side of marshy area and down to outward RoW near Garreglwyd and back to Tyncwm. 11km with 450m ascent in 3h 30m. (S)silveracorn_alan31/07/2020

Parked at 769655. I was going to do a big circuit of various tops but it had been snowing and more was forecast so I decided just to climb Dibyn Du on its own to reduce the distance for the others at a later date. I left the track earlier than I probably should have done which meant I had a bit of a rollercoaster. Visited both tops given.clivevilla03/04/2019
Third Dewey of four on a 17 mile walk from the dam car park at the Claerwen reservoir. Route first took in Craig Fawr then over open ground to Craig Dyfnant before dropping down to the path around the reservoir to the far end then once again over open ground to reach Dibyn Du and finally Crug Gynon.WAYNE ROWLETT05/05/2018

Small parking area at Tyncwm at 769655 (Space for 3-4 cars). After bagging Crug Gynon, back along ATV tracks to 792643 & then N. along ATV tracks before heading NW for a fairly straightforward ascent to the unmarked mossy summit. Back same way, but after skirting boggy area picked up an ATV track which heads W. & then SW down to Garreglwyd. (S)gerrybowes17/11/2017
Walked up the excellent track from Tyncwm past Garregwyd, then onto Crug Gynon, round the Llyn and up Dibyn Du. Almost all on ATV tracks. Dropped down to the path below through ancient hawthorns.Neolith14/05/2017
Parked in small designated area at Tyncwm than followed track to Garreglwyd where it becomes decent ATV track almost to the cairn on Crug Gynon. Retraced steps then headed north again following ATV tracks before ascending Dibyn Du. Came off to north and picked up track down by Nant Egnant to car.SS15/04/2017

Parked near end of lane east of Strata Florida Abbey at SN 76986 65564 - room for 3-4 cars. Took track east, leaving it near a ruin to ascend steeply north-east to summit plateau - one barbed wire fence to tackle. Visited all likely high points on all three tops. Walk continued to Esgair Wen. Solo.Man of Kernow130/05/2016
From Tyncwm via Nant Egnant and over all three tops, which we could not separate with the level, going reasonably easy.AlanD20/03/2016
As part of a circuit of Disgwilfa, Graig Felen, Esgair Wen, Dibyn Du, Crug Gynon, Crug Gynon South Top and Pen-y-bwlch starting at 76984 65568. The circuit was over tussocky grass and peaty ground, if the weather hadn't been dry for the past few weeks this would not have been achievable.JohnStoneham08/09/2014
From Crug Gynon. As below best to keep to the higher graound. Even if dry the tussocks cause problems.destaylor26/07/2014
Start ~ 769655, Tyncwm. Tiny car park, followed good track up to Garreglwyd then turned north to Dibyn Du. going was tough in places, tussocks and bog, real Welsh Dewey terrain! Then headed SE skirting Lyn Gynon to Crug Gynon, more tough going, return to start on the RoW. With Wombournesteve hudson12/06/2014
Parked at Tyncwm, GR 769 655, room for 4 or 5 cars. Followed good track east to Garreglwyd then turned N crossing tussock grass and bog to Dibyn Du. Descended SE to skirt Llyn Gynon, more bog and tussock grass to Crug Gynon then back to track and car. With SH.wombourne12/06/2014

From Strata Florida- great walk via Nant Egnant, then up the W slopes, down the NE ridge to pt.485, skirting a formidable looking bog then by the Teifi pools to the Llyn Teifi dam; down via Frongoch. With Pete. Sunny and warm.pwheeler30/04/2000
