Parked in the large layby on A82 to the NW. Followed the River Falloch track. Crossed river and rising traverse onto the Grey Height ridge to Meall Dhamh. As the path began to steeply zig zag up the W side of Cruach Ardrain, contoured around about 880m contour above the crags and steep gullies to the S ridge to bag Beinn Tulaichean, returning for Cruach Ardrain's SW and main tops. The plan was to go onto Stob Garbh but the initial descent off CA looked too challenging for us so we backtracked to Meall Dhamh followed the good path to the wood edge and down to the footbridge Enjoyable hot day with good views all round. Started the walk from the car park at Inverlochlarig at the end of Loch Voil. The going is very steep up grassy slopes and no distinct paths to follow until you get closer to the summit. Once at the summit of Beinn Tulaichean I carried on down to the bealach and then up to Cruach Ardrain. The return journey took me back to the bealach between the two mountains and then headed in an Easterly direction down the hill to the farm track in Inverlochlarig Glen. Followed this track back to the starting point. Walk took just over the 5 hours.Anglostark25/03/2019

From Inverlochlarig (NN 44575 18461) - Beinn Tulaichean - Cruach Ardrain SW Top - Cruach Ardrain. Intermittent path on the initial ascent of Beinn Tulaichean but becomes more distinct nearer the summit. Ground very wet and slippery on the descent from the bealach between Beinn Tulaichean & Cruach Ardrain SW Top to Inverlochlarig Glen. Good track along the glen back to the car park.david23020124/02/2019
Beinn Tulaichean (946m) and Cruach Ardrain (1046m) accessed from Iverlochlarig, west of Balquhidder. It was a killer ascending up Beinn Tulaichean, through the mist, I had to convince myself to carry on, but the views from the top were incredible. I got my first ever inversion, with all the mountains poking out the mist like islands in the sea. 7:10 hours all in.chillyman824/02/2019

With friends. From Portnellan Lodge Chalets we walked to Benmore Farm and ascended Benmore Glen. Struck up the hillside to Stob Garbh and continued to Cruach Ardrain. Went on to Beinn Tulaichean. We returned by contouring to the east of Cruach Ardrain and to the west of Stob Garbh and then down the ridge over Stob Coire Bhuidhe direct to the chalets. There was no rain on the walk, but it started as we reached the chalets and continued on the entire journey home. Cold.pwbellarby21/10/1984

From the top of the gully we headed for Stob Garbh and then on to Cruach Ardrain and finally Beinn Tulaichean. The cloud only lifted in the final top allowing a few photographs to be taken. We returned to our camp via our starting point earlier in the day. Our tent had been joined by an Army bivvy tent in our absence.langskill15/02/1969
