Cake walk from the Foxhunter carpark. Don’t miss the sign explaining the name of the carpark - it’s clearly not fox country up here. 20 minute walk to the summit. Wide views over the very dry bog. With Eoin and Tiarnán who sat this one out in the car.Pete West28/05/2023

From the Pen-ffordd-goch pond car park at SO 25487 10732. Took the trail around the water and onwards on the flank of the hill, contouring above Cwm Ifor. At a junction took a fainter path east which wound up to the summit area. Descended to the aerial car park, and down to the road, taking in a quick visit to Pt. 502m among the coal mine workings. 5.0km, with 170m of ascent. Summit celebrations on top of Blorens,as I had completed the Deweys, and, in addition, all hills and mountains in Wales, England and IoM over 500m in height and 30m of prominence (743 summits on 06/01/2023).
