On return walk to The Schil from Halterburn (ford), Pete and I used the Pennine Way high level path. But first, we used a farmer's track as clear as the PW variant from the col/PW signpost, to Black Hag. The HP is actually a fairly dry upland pasture. Then carefully down to the fence and PW variant- there are three ridges headingN from this hill. Clouding over after a fine day.pwheeler11/09/2022
