This tor was climbed as part of an epic walk from Two bridges in the quest to explore Wistman's wood primarily. This area of Dartmoor has such a Western feel to it. I walked with my girlfriend (at the time) and her daughter and we saw some Dartmoor Ponies next to the rocks at Longaford Tor. WE walked as far as Brown's house, a ruin and then followed the West Dart river and eventually found Wistmans wood on the lower slopes.Dazingdale14/03/2010
