Fan Bwlch Chwyth, Yr Allt, Fan Fraith a Fan Gyhirych.sionbrit29/11/2020
Took the stony track across Y Gelli from the north. Gets pretty close to the summit of Fan Gyhirych, a good peat path softening the final 500m or so. Then popped over to Fan Fraith, extended dry conditions making the otherwise boggy crossing a doddle. Then the rather more testing ascent of Fan Nedd, doubling back to bag the easier tops of Yr Allt and Fan Bwlch Chwyth, a helpful peaty path making the going good to firm.summitter21/09/2020

Returned to the car by a direct bearing which meant a large descent and reascent but nice crossing of Nant Cil-y-fforch and a network of its many tributaries. 11 km.Herbert Anchovy05/04/2018

Really good day starting from a track at SN896222 on to Y Gelli up to the saddle between Fan Gyhirych and Fan Fraith. Had to jump a moat at the top of Fan Gyhirych to reach the trig. Fan Fraith was a bit underwhelming, but worth ticking. Then followed the track back down to a stile and did the down and up to Fan Nedd. Took a slightly different track back up over Yr Allt and towards Fan Bwlch Chwyth and then dropped down to the west to pick up the original landrover track again. Didn't get started until 2pm, so came off the hill at 8.30pm. Beautiful day, had the hill to ourselves for the most part.islamidget01/06/2013

Climbed after Fans G&N and Yr Allt using a route based around the forestry track. This one isn't necessarily worth the detour - fair enough trigged peak, but then a rough tussocky tramp down west back to the car.poppiesrara20/03/2011
