A superb circular of Skiddaw's eastern tops, the cloud obviously finally lifting as I was descending. Lonscale Fell & Pike, Jenkin Hill, Lesser Man, Little Man, Sale How and return via Skiddaw House and the excellent Cumbria Way. Finished off with a run up to Latrigg-pound for pound the best WW to date, for the effort required vs reward..Alfa1M21/11/2023
My fourth Wainwright round of the Skiddaw Group from High Side in the north. Visited Watches, Ullock Pike, Long Side, Carl Side, cut across to Skiddaw Little Man and Lesser Man, then along the ridge past Jenkin Hill to Lonscale Fell and Lonscale Pike. Then an about turn below Little Man to the main summit ridge, visiting South Top, Middle Top, Skiddaw Summit, and North Top. Descended over Broad End to Bakestall, and down to the road via Cockup. 20km with 1360m ascent 7hours.silverwolf_alan04/11/2023
