ANOTHER CLEAR, SUNNY DAY BUT VERY WINDY ON THE TOP OF BLENCATHRA. FROM SCALES UP MAIN PATH OVER SCALES FELL (NEW) AND DODDICK FELL (NEW) AND OUT TO BLEASE FELL (NEW). BACK ALONG THE RIDGE TO ATKINSON PIKE AND DOWN TO THE COLL. NEARLY TO BOWSCALE FELL BUT DIVERTED OVER HORRID ROUGH AND BOGGY GROUND TO THE TONGUE (NEW). BACK ONTO BOWSCALE TO REACH BOWSCALE E. TOP (NEW), THEN DOWN GOOD PATH THOUGH VERY STEEP AND SLIDY AT THE END TO BE PICKED UP IN MUNGRISDALE.
