Down over Sand Hill to Coledale Hause and up S to the col between Crag Hill and Grasmoor. Up SE to Wandope summit and W to Thirdgill Head Man and then over Whiteless Edge to Whiteless Pike. WARM, CLOUDLESS AND WINDLESS SO WENT FOR A HIGH LEVEL EXCURSION. FROM STONEYCROFT BRIDGE STRAIGHT UP THE GOOD BUT STEEP AND SCRAMBLY PATH UP ROWLING END (NEW) FOLLOWED BY THE EASY SCRAMBLE UP CAUSEY PIKE. OVER SCAR CRAGS, DOWN TO SAIL HAUSE AND UP THE SAIL ZIGZAG TO REACH CRAG HILL. THEN OUT TO TWO NEW BIRKETTS, EEL CRAG AND THIRDGILL HEAD MAN WITH A SURPRISINGLY LONG CLIMB BACK UP CRAG HILL.
