From Rigg Beck Quarry. 13.5 km, 1000 m asc. Up by Gillbrow and the correctly named Low High Snab to the tops of High Snab Bank and Robinson. Down W and across a soggy Buttermere Moss to High Snockrigg. Down to Newlands Hause and up to the summits Knott Rigg, Ill Crag (Newlands), Ard Crags and Aikin Knott. From Rigg Beck Quarry. 12.5 km, 940 m asc. Head W along the Rigg Beck path and drop down left to cross Rigg Beck and up to join the Ard Crags ridge. W and SW along the ridge to the summits of Aikin Knott, Ard Crags, Ill Crag (Newlands) and Knott Rigg. Down to Newlands Hause and up the High Snockrigg path, crossing Buttermere Moss and up E to the summit of Robinson. Down by Blea Crags and the summit of High Snab Bank to the aptly named Low High Snab cottage. Take the Gillbrow path and the road to Rigg Beck.
