A long hard day to pick up Gavel Pike, Cofa Pike and Gale Crag, involving going over St. Sunday Crag, Fairfield, Hart Crag and Hartsop-above-How. Well worth the effort. After the intial ascent the hardest part was the descent from Hart Crag. A outstanding walk. | BURGESS | 07/07/2023 |

To Patterdale and up the S ridge to Arnison Crag. Down to Trough Head and W up to Birks summits and continuing up to Gavel Pike and St Sunday Crag. 
Back to the Gavel Moss col and down by the Elmhow zig-zags. Back by Thornhow and Glenamara Park. 
Dry, breezy.
