From track that leaves Loch Eigheach. Room for a few cars. Right off track just past first wooded area on the left. Over Meall na Mucarach to summit. Back to col then down good ATV track WNW to main track. KeithByTheC24/04/2023

Parked at start point for the Munros just East of Rannoch Station. Took direct route up hillside above first tree plantation to Meall na Mucarach. Heading towards Sron Smeur there were some peat hags to negotiate in the Bealach before picking up atv track to summit. Followed the atv track back down to the main track and back out to start point.Jossker18/06/2022
By obvious route in rain and 25mph wind the night before Carn Mairg w Malky. Rounsfell06/04/2022

From Ben Pharlagain, over Garbh Mheall Mor. Straight up the left hand side of the plantation. Very steep, a little clambering, but no problems in good weather. Didn't find a decent path or ATV track on the way down, came out on the track about 300m from the main road.Owen B26/09/2020
3rd today. Up track from parking at Loch Eigheach and round corner past forestry plantation where ATV track helps for a bit then wet tussicky grass round Mucarach and onto ridge where a faint old ATV track leads nearly to summit. Very hot. Great views of large Lochs Rannoch, Erich and Laidon and panorama of mountains. Back by same route, tough, did not find Gills firm grass! Trip 110minsCoinneach20/09/2020

A surprisingly easy walk. The Road to the Isles track to just past the forestry plantation where a short vehicle track heads up the hill to get you started. Short grass, then easy deer tracks lead NE then N to dodge and contour round Meall na Mucarach to the bealach below Sron Smeur, then make your way to the top for a surprise view along the length of Loch Ericht. Easy, firm going nearly all the way, despite days of torrential rain, except for a very few short boggy patches.Gill18/08/2019

En route to Pharlagain. Hadn't planned to do it first but didn't fancy wading through the spated Allt Gorman on the way out. Saved that delight for return trip. Very wet nevertheless.Martin R25/10/2014

Parked at Loch Eigheach opposite the track to Corrour. Took direct route up hillside above first tree plantation to Meall na Mucarach. Headed towards Sron Smeur picking up an ATV track from the col that went nearly to the summit. Followed the atv track back down to the col to meet a bigger ATV track, followed this East to the main track and back out to start point. 5.3 miles.JulieBblank
