Pleasant walk over from Stob an Fhithich. Lots of deer on the hill. Good views over Ardlui, but Ben Vorlich in mist. Descended towards Garristuck, but quite rough going.LizH23/10/2023
From Ben Vorlich with Richard in low cloud. Continued north over undulating grass and rock to small cairn, then descended N over similar terrain to c400m then turned East down to Ardlui, where wehopped onto platform and back to car in layby. The woodland section was ok-bracken and brambles have not yet grown up. Gradual albeit pathless descent.Denise 29/04/2023
Parked in layby opposite Ardlui station for a circuit of Stob an Fhithich and Stob nan Coinnich Bhacain.PGCE25/04/2023

From good parking opp Stuckendroin, clockwise round of Stuc na Nighinn, Little Hills E & W, Ben Vorlich Trig, Main & N and Stob nan Coinnich Bhacain.TRG31829/05/2022
tedious start replaced on descent by more southerly traverse to burn then north to sheep creep. Clear day, good conditions.oatcake07/03/2022
From Inveruglas. Up to mast using track then steep onto ridge beneath South Top. Deep snow patches. Two Simms, Munro and Munro Top. Down steep to Ardlui. With dogs, Rick, Andy, Pat and Adrian.jenx21/02/2022
From NE, P opposite Ardlui station, short unpleasant road walk S to Garristuck then steep bracken, good higher up. Descended SE to pick up Vorlich path, parking at Stuckendroin, much easier. No path mapped... 3 Simms remaining now for completion day -)RHW26/06/2021
Descent to Ardlui on good ground until land rover track picked up. Track soggy further on downOh no I forgot...27/08/2019
Linear walk from Ardvorlich to Ardlui with Steve Smith; covered 7 hills centred on Ben Vorlch.jonglew03/12/2017
A circuit of BV's tops from Ardlui: Stob nan Coinnich Bhacain via the steepish grassy gully on the south - BV North Top - BV - BV South Top - an improvised traverse, helped by a deer track half the way to West Little Hill - East Little Hill - a descent ending in sustained wading through waist high grasses and bracken above Stuckendroin.Nick Down109/09/2017
stob an fhithich and stob nan coinnich bhacain from the north back down path to ardlui.robertphillips02/08/2017
Short day squeezed between forecast morning and late afternoon rain and wind that did not fully materialise. very wet underfoot with snow thawing rapidly, water everywhere. Made a poor choice of line over crags approaching summit which caused me some minor problems but straightforward if you take care to take the right and fairly obvious line. Nice top for views down into loch etc. Lower doiwn a range of options in the form of ATV tracks though all boggy.dickscroop01/04/2016
Short solo break in Ardlui. 4.30pm drop off so flew up Ben Vorlich taking in Stob nan C. Bhacain and Little Hills in 4hrs. Path not distinct all the way up (blunder up from dam). There are problems getting off the NE end of Stuc na Nughinn. Interesting Munro though.Mark Jackson17/07/2013
Walked up over the Little Hills and Ben Vorlich. Didn't see any other people on little hills but several people on main Ardlui path.andy06/06/2009

On way down, just about enjoying it now! Top on Little annoying hills! With Richard Armour, tiring hill in good weather.Dugswell208/10/1993
Cairngorm Club bus meet. I left the bus at Ardlui and walked on path past Garristuck and up towards Stob an Fhithick. Hence over Stob nan Coinnich Bhacain to 931m top of Ben Vorlich, and the main summit. I was alone so far. After waiting on the summit I met up with another club member. Together we went to trig point and went over Little Hills, down ridge to NE, and then to burn, following paths not shown on my map to near Garristuck, and thence Ardlui. Weather good.pwbellarby04/10/1992
