From Glen Tilt Carpark at Old Blair, walked along Glen Tilt to Gilberts Bridge and New Bridge, following the good path all the way to the summit of Beinn Mheadonach. OK path continued to Carn a Chiaraidh, though we lost it in places. Elrig ic an Toisich had less of a path, but with mossy summits and little heather, walking was easy. Contoured round the N end of Beinn Dearg to Beinn Gharbh and the cairn easily found. Straightforward climb to Beinn Dearg. We descended off the almost due S path (the E most of the few) for 2km before heading almost due E over peat hags to meet a track that ran SE to Beinn a Chait. After the summit we were down heather and grass until we reached the path just N of Elrig. A smaller path took us directly to the summit. Descent W to again meet a path that led us over Allt Slanaidh then a 5km track walk back to the car park. 32km, 1300m climb 8 hrs walking. Very dry underfoot. Fab circuit avoiding endless tracks to remote hills.Lynnebe13/09/2023

Solo. Starting from Blair Atholl train station. A beautiful day and perfect conditions, as well as the good quality, easily navigable and steadily ascending track, made the long walk in across the moors pleasant and relaxing. Fine views all round from the summit coated in red boulders, especially over to Carn a' Chlamain, Glen Tilt, and Beinn a' Ghlo. Equally long walk out was fine and mercifully cooler with more cloud cover. Pub by the station a good spot to finish.RufusHodge01/06/2023

I was not really paying attention; after starting from Old Bridge of Tilt I ended up heading along Glen Banvie before realising I was off route! However at the northern edge of the forestry I took a path across the moors to Cuilltemhuc. After fording the river, as it looks like any bridge has been washed away. I then continued up the motorway of an estate track to Bruar Lodge. There were lots of dogs barking and I decided to cross the river about 1/4mile south of the lodge and headed up the hillside into the clag. The path when I reached it was not great so I took a bearing and headed straight for the summit. Just under 12 miles. On the return I went via the bothy and back to the car . Time 7 hours 30 minutes for 21.5 miles. Thousands of Fieldfares and Redwings and a few Red Deer seen and heard.isabelle27/10/2022

Cycled up through Blair and on to ridge on an increasingly snowdrifts track requiring prolonged pushing over several kilometres before reaching the junction with the mountain track. Started ascent on foot over snow covered slopes long rounded shoulder leading up to small rocky summit with cairn and shelter circle all shrouded in ice. Retraced steps and returned by lower track past Bothy after short muddy ascent long downhill track to to Blair Atholl.david.walker4004/03/2022

Walk/no bike - From Glen Tilt car park with Harrison. Gloomy weather with clag on the summit, and drizzle as we descended. Fairly decent pace saw us hit the 30k/18.6mi return to the car park after 5h 45mins. Not a particularly interesting hill, but a tick is a tick.mproudfoot19/06/2021
Solo again, with bike for the long track in/out. Met a few folk on way back out. Very windy up top, warm and sunny at the bothy though.Larry Groo12/06/2021
