Cycled from Tolvah to Ruigh-fionntaig then walked up track approaching summit from the W.187lenny10/12/2023
My third Simm of the day after cycling up from Tolvah. At 823893 there's an ATV track which goes to the top. Total for the day 38k.NormanW18/04/2023
2 of 2: From Sron Direachain. Hill walker's blog described the ground as awful so we headed for the new track to the south of the hills. This merely prolonged the bad ground and the track is a muddy ATV. After abandoning this circumnavigation we headed north to the HP. Then NW to Lochan an t-Sluich and back to Achlean. Very steep to the lochan: should have gone west. With Karen.ChrisR30/11/2022

Improving atv from NN 82363 89350. Very young sparse replanting on west side of topcarole engel20/09/2020
I had walked past this hill on both sides recently so it was finally time to climb it instead of going round it. I decided on a direct approach so left the track at about 515m, well before the lochan, and headed straight up the steep slope. That worked well. Heather not too thick but strong enough to cling on to, at summit half an hour after leaving the track. Some good walking on heather carpet on the summit plateau, rougher on way down to col.alda07/09/2016
Left car at Calvine and got lift from alda round to Glen Feshie (W). Left him to speed off ahead on his bike and headed for the W side of the hill via tarred road and track. Steep ascent to summit plateau from N end of Lochan an t-Sluic. Rough heather & boulders, not recommended.Lindsay M04/10/2015
