With Meall Uaine, Meall na h-Aodainn Moire, Ben Vrackie, Meall Breac, Carn Geal & Creag Bhreac. 18.7 kms. | duchally | 30/01/2023 |
Round of tops surrounding Ben Y Vrackie. Initially followed standard route, taking beallach path and easily climbing Meall na h-Aodainn Moire from high point. Return to path continuing NNW and climbing towards Meall an Daimh. Continued to summit on pathless terrain, also visiting the outcrop a short distance away from the official summit. Continued E along ridge then contouring to join ridge to climb Meall Breac. Returned to beallach then some contouring S and then climb to Carn Geal. Descended roughly W then contoured to join descent path from Ben Y Vrackie, and short diversion to climb Creag Bhreac on return. Mixture of weather - some sunny spells, cloud and rain. | RobertP | 25/10/2022 |
From Killiecrankie.. followed rough tracks to the old wall. faint path aids the heather stomp, but its quite a short bash. Wonderful viewpoint on a very hot day, we could see from Ben Nevis to Ben Avon, quite something. | hils | 12/08/2022 |

Pitlochry-Creag Bhreac-Ben Vrackie-Carn Geal-Meall Breac-Meall an Daimh-Meall na h-Aodainn Moire-Meall Uaine-Pitlochry. Frequent sound of what I took to be gunfire while contouring to this one. | campagvelocet | 23/10/2017 |

Cairngorm Club meet. With other club members some of the time but mostly solo. From car park at start of Ben Vrackie path at Moulin. Walked up main path to summit of Ben Vrackie. Continued to Meall an Daimh on faint path and using compass as very misty. Two contenders for highest point of Meall an Daimh. One is a small bump near some rocky outcrops and the second a flat area of heather with a large lying stone, which may be the summit. Both points reached. Went back to col with Ben Vrackie and descended southwards - lots of heather and boulders lower down. Went up to the obvious summit of Meall na h-Aodainn. Descended to 'Bealach Path', crossing a track not marked on my map before I reached that path. Hence back to Moulin. | pwbellarby | 05/10/2014 |
