Cycled from Glenprosen Lodge to Kilbo, then on foot following the fence up the Glack of Balquader path, over a gate and an ATV track along the ridge to the top.NormanW02/06/2022
From the Backwater viewpoint carpark via Eskielawn. and Bruntshields and then round of ridges enclosing Glen Damff.benalder28417/04/2022
Solo trip. New Ebike from Glen Prosen road end as far as Kilbo bothy (which is being re-roofed). Through Glack of Balquhader which is a rather good glacial meltwater channel, up ATV track parallel to fence to the summit. Extremely fine views of Driesh and Mayar. Rather sad that Glenprosen estate feels it necessary to persecute predators with such enthusiasm.Invicta1419/03/2022
Parked at Glenprosen Lodge. Along past Old Craig to the bridge, then doubled back through the old felled area to a gate at NO2580 6968. Up along the fenceline, then onto an ATV track to a 2nd gate at NO2517 6911. Through the gate and along ATV track to the summit. Visited the nearby small cairn, but misty so no view.LizH11/02/2022
Parked just beyond road end in Glen Isla. Round of 5 Simms: Finally Hill, Bawhelps, Craigie Thieves, Bodnasparet, Mid Hill.PGCE23/07/2020
A good round of six tops from head of Glen Isla where I camped a couple of nights by the parking area. Apart from the walking were two encounters, close up, with Hen Harriers. The first rose up from the trackside ditch about 10 metres in front of me, looked at me for a bit before moving off, then a similar incident less than 5 minutes later which may, or may not have been the same bird. Then, much later in the day three rose up in front of me, again no more than 10 metres away. I guess a pair and this years chick which would be full grown by mid July. Apart from that there were the tops: Finalty Hill, down to Bawhalps, and Craigie Thieves, cut corner on way across to Mid Hill so I could get some water (left my water bottle at tent) but overdid it so missed it, round to Bodnasparet; back to pick up mid hill and finally Badandun Hill, down to road for walk back to tent. A really good day. More estate tracks than shown on map.dickscroop16/07/2020
craig lair, bodnasparet, craigie thieves, mid hill, bawhelps, finalty hill, creagan caise hill, from parking near fergus at track entrance to keepers cottage.robertphillips04/01/2020

After Hill of Strone. Cycled from Glenprosen lodge past Old Craig to bridge then up through felled forest, debris mostly cleared. Shadowed by nosey and evidently suspicious estate landrovers.Topographer5707/06/2019
Bike/Hike from Prosen village. Left bike at kilbo. the path on the map is an atv track, actually goes all the way to the top, very convenient. Thought the ground at the other side of the deer fence might be higher. Thought the top strand of the fence would not be electrified. I was wrong!!! best to go on for a wee bit to a gate, still has this strand but easier to get under it. totally over the top fencing.hils26/06/2017
