Verge parking at cattle grid between Clune and Knockandoo. Cycled to NH773242, then followed track to Carn Ruighe Shamhraich, onwards to Carn Dubh Ic an Deoir. Short heather walking NW to Carn Leachter Beag, then Carn Bad an Daimh, then ENE to join estate track back to start point. Easy walking, surprisingly devoid of birds (few grouse), one rat seen in plentiful rat traps. | willyross | 29/06/2023 |
Parked (NH787249) off road down track continuing from Knockandoo to NNE - several options. Track soon becomes tarmac so could bike to NH773242. Up east side Wester Strathnoon Burn and down west side - nice walk | carole engel | 19/05/2022 |

3 & 6 of 9: Out from Carn Leachter Beag. Return from Carn nan Luibean Glas. Sunny but a strong cold wind made the large cairn a welcome shelter during my early lunch break. Hail in a heavy shower after leaving the first time. NB The electric fence can be disconnected. | ChrisR | 24/10/2019 |
Nice trig but huge unnecessary cairn next to it | alda | 03/06/2018 |
Surprisingly good weather compared to what had gone before meant a very pleasant round of 9 tops and much less boggy and peat haggy than I had expected. Biked in from Slochd hostel then Sgumain Mor: Carn na Guaille; Carn nan Luibean; Carn Coire nan-eirghe; Carn Bad an Daimh; Carn Leachter Beag; Carn Dubh Ic an Deoir; Carn Coire na Caorach; Carn Phris Mor. NB Fence was live! | dickscroop | 18/10/2017 |
