Deuchary Hill from Cally car park, near Dunkeld | hummusg | 11/03/2024 |
Long walk in from the Cally carpark. Beaver dams and cut trees on the Mill Loch. Mizzle during walk in. but became dry and sunny on the way out so waterproofs dried out. | alexmaclennan | 15/02/2024 |
On tracks from corner of road above Guay via Lochan na Beinne. | Winterfloodian | 10/01/2024 |
From excellent Cally CP, via Mill Dam, Rotmell Loch, Dowally Loch, Loch Ordie and Lochan na Beinne. Descended S then good tracks straight back to start. With SHC. | TRG318 | 07/01/2024 |
From Guay, where I parked on the verge before the no parking signs on the approach to the sharp bend. A very pleasant walk to the cockscomb summit and trig on Deuchary Hill on good tracks, especially the green path that climbs gently to Lochan na Beinne. Then a circuit via the grass rib of the South Top and through heather and bracken, ascending steeply at one point, to an undulating heathery ridge leading to the West Top and some more heather before rejoining the grassy path. | Nick Down1 | 05/02/2023 |
Solo. Began from the train station. Good stride in across the moorland before confronted with a steep and harsh final ascent for my unkempt hill fitness. Excellent views all round at the top. Descended to the North to add a wee loop to the return. First Marilyn of the year. | RufusHodge | 28/01/2023 |
From Cally car park. Good forest roads up past Mill Dam then to Laddown Burn. A feint path runs along by the burn but a better path just over the burn goes more directly up through the trees to the summit. Lovely views from the top. Solo. | Dangerous Dave | 04/11/2022 |
Good tracks from Guay, were there is parking on the sharp bend. Bitter wind on summit with snow on distant hills | cjo | 09/04/2022 |
Deuchary Hill circuit from Dunkeld. | thekirkie pirate | 08/03/2022 |
Great walk inc. Loch Ordie from Cally Car Park, good views from the top of Deuchary, but very icy in places. | nicolajane | 07/01/2022 |

Very pleasant walk from south - good parking NO 045447. At the hairpin bend there are TWO paths - one up the stream towards Lochan na Beinne - this does not lead to the summit. The hill path is a few meters further round the corner at NO 03666 47961 and goes in a NE direction. There are signs galore on the way up but none for the hill itself (typical). Nevertheless, it was a lovely walk and stunning view point once at the top. | carole engel | 11/09/2021 |
SMMC day meet. From Cally car park, traverse of hill from SE to NW, then past Loch Ordie. | clashcityrocker | 22/06/2021 |
From the Cally car park. | BLACKHILL | 21/06/2021 |
Currently car parking blocked/closed at bottom/start of path in Guay due to log felling and extraction. | mazz | 01/06/2021 |
headed south west from west top onto a narrow path that takes you onto the main track for a very short time before heading up the Deuchary Hill path which leaves at an angle from the track through the trees. Followed this past the trig and then on down to Loch Ordie before heading back. 12km 3.5hrs | Nicky C | 10/01/2021 |
Parked in Dunkeld and walked towards Cally carpark and turned right at the mill dam at the Upper Lock Ordie sign. Turn right after crossing the river bridge. Then turned left after approx 1km on to a small track which was hard to locate in the snow. Followed the deer tracks to the top. You will have missed the turn if you reach a gate which has the childrens loch in view. | Bigjap666 | 10/01/2021 |

From near Guay by logging roads on way to Creag nam Mial | curlebd | 03/08/2020 |
As per Gill from Guay, really pleasant walk, paths and tracks all of the way to the summit. 6 mile round trip took about 1hr 10 to the top at a leisurely pace including a number of photo stops. Could do a variety of different routes to make a longer circuit if required. Was very peaceful until a landrover experience with about 20 landrovers drove past me on the track on the way back to the car. | JulieB | 25/07/2020 |

From near Guay by logging roads. Clag coming and going on top. Still day, overcast. Damp underfoot but no rain. First walk after being ill at Knoydart, en route Edinb. | Rounsfell | 09/09/2019 |
A nice walk from the track starting at the road bend above and NE of Guay. Good parking a few yards along the track. The nasty logging road is mercifully short and nicer tracks wind up past crags to cross the river eventually. Shortly after the bridge, a gate leads to an old grassy track to Lochan na Beinne, sadly bulldozed badly just before the loch. A nice grassy path leads easily to the top, the last bit steep, and a tiny scramble to the rocky summit. Watch out for adders sleeping in the sun. | Gill | 19/08/2019 |
From Cally Car Park and up the track to the west, before heading up the path on the north-west side passing Lochan na Beinne. | Windy Corner | 25/07/2019 |
Easy, from Guay. Good parking on spur of stubby forest road at R-angle bend, NO006495. Good tracks and paths to Loch Ordie, then good path to top, via Lochan na Beinne. | Isbjorn | 04/06/2019 |

From Cally car park at NO 02336 43712. Took the track via The Glack to Mill Dam, then Upper Loch Ordie trail to a bridge. Then track NE towards Grewshill and narrow path just after burn N to summit. On return, took trail past Lochan na Beinne to Loch Ordie, then lower Loch Ordie trail back to Mill Dam, rejoining outward route. Solo. | Man of Kernow1 | 12/05/2018 |

Solo. From car park at NO022437 to the north of Dunkeld. After ascending Crieff Hill and Deuchary Hill West Top. I descended northwards to join the track going towards Deuchary Hill near the outfall of Lochan na Beinne. Followed the track and the continuation path to the summit of Deuchary Hill reaching the trig point and scrambling up the rib of rock which is the highest point. Decided to descend on the path and track that goes NW and then on the track S to the starting point, so avoiding the thick heather. Nice dry and sunny weather. | pwbellarby | 20/08/2017 |
from NO006495 along paths and tracks (all marked on OS map) to summit. Lovely sculpted hill with great views. Onwards to Creag nam Mial. With Mike. | raffemeister | 31/07/2017 |

As Chris Peart. Excellent tracks from above Guay and a clear path for last half kilometre to summit. | Lionel Bidwell | 05/10/2016 |
From Butterstones/Riechip up the Tarmac road, made a short walk. Shapely ridge with on Wall and Deer fence to cross. Fine view point. | N.Morters | 30/07/2016 |
From right angled bend above Guay - tracks then forestry path via Lochan na Beinne - a delight until thunder and lightning forced a hurried descent. | Chris Peart | 22/05/2016 |
From Dunkeld. 4.75hrs. Misty on top. | Hammy | 28/12/2015 |
Up the track from the Riechip junction. Bracken was waist high and so was the heather. Tough going. Murky. | Play2End | 30/10/2015 |
