Parked just inside the Carrick Castle Estate gates and walked vehicle tracks almost to Lochan nan Cnaimh. Up over Cnoc na tri Criche and along the ridge to here, with a couple of false tops. Returned by virtually the same route. A biting cold wind. | NormanW | 14/01/2024 |
Parked at memorial car park for a circuit of 4 Simms: Sgurr a' Choinnich (via Lochgoilhead path), Cnoc na Tri Criche, Beinn Dubhain, Carnach Mor. | PGCE | 16/09/2022 |
Followed an ATV track from Beinn Bhreac to just E of the summit. Explored a couple of high points, but rock outcrop at NS15930 95649 looked highest. Ten scrambler bikes using the ATV track along the tops, somewhat spoiled the tranquillity! Descended towards Cnoc na Tricriche, then down the SE shoulder to descend to the forest track just above the Carrick Burn. Very rough ground on last part of the descent. Bridge over the burn, then pleasant track back round to the Castle. | LizH | 24/04/2022 |

after Beinn Lagan from Layby at 122978. Follow the marker posts with white bands denoting path to Lochgilpnead, then head SE to narrow summit with a couple of stones. Very wet and snowy once left forest. Would have been good viewpoint without the snow. 3 hrs | Thearlaichdubh | 07/02/2014 |
