Along the WHW from Inversnaid, then up the track from Cailness to quickly bag Cruachan and its satellites ... South Top and the two Maol a' Chapuill tops. Back along the WHW. 4hrs.summitter17/05/2023
From car park to NNW. Crossed bridge and went up outside the deer fence following deer tracks, but had to cross the fence again a short distance from the summit. On to the south top, going well east of the lochan around the peat bogs. Descended staying inside (west) of the deer fence, through the deciduous part of the wood, but awkward walking in places.LizH16/11/2020
From Inversnaid, along WHW to Cailness. Just before the Cottage, immediately after a watercourse, there is a path leading to a kissing gate on the track. Easy missed and saves going through cottage grounds, which entails crossing a large rotten wooden fence and should be avoided. Cracking views from this hill, lovely trip all round.hils02/11/2020
From Loch Arklet dam - Cruachan, Cruachan S Top, Maol a' Chapuill & Beinn Uamha then back down forest track to point 184. Very rough country - tussocks and heather - very few tracks. With M.sclater29/08/2020
From carpark to NNW and kept outside the trees by the stream. Annoyingly had to climb a deer-fence to get to the top.Alan Moore22/04/2019
